Celebs Hit Local Golf Course in Kraft Nabisco Pro-Am

The LPGA's first major tournament of the year begins this week in Rancho Mirage at Mission Hills Country Club.

The Kraft Nabisco Championship's celebrity pro-am will begin Tuesday at the Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage with a field including Ray Romano, Craig T. Nelson and Kevin Nealon.

Other scheduled participants include Dennis Haysbert, Thomas Gibson, Joe Mantegna, Cheech Marin, Alice Cooper, Joe Theismann, Scott Wolf and Ron Perlman. World Golf Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, a three-time winner of the Kraft Nabisco Championship, will host the pro-am.

The tournament's Legends Junior Challenge, in which area middle and high school female golfers compete, starts at 9 a.m. on the Palmer Course.
