Local Golfers to Take World Stage in 2013?

The 2013 Solheim Cup teams could have a desert flair

Veteran golfer Liselotte Neumann, of Rancho Mirage, will be the Captain of the 2013 Solheim Cup team for Europe.

The Solheim Cup, played every two years, features the top American women golfers in a team match play competition against their European counterparts.

Neumann, a lifetime member of the Ladies European Tour, will lead the best women in Europe to the Colorado Golf Club next year to try to defeat an American team that may have a desert connection as well.

Palm Desert's Nicole Castrale is back to playing full time on the LPGA tour following shoulder surgery in 2010, and the birth of her first child in 2011.

Castale is a two-time Solheim Cup pick for the U.S, in 2007 and 2009; and made the winning putt to give the Cup to the American Team in 2007.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
