Palm Desert High Twins Selected to All-CIF Girls Soccer Team
Makayla and Kiana Mendoza are picked for the CIF Division 5 All-CIF team.
It’s been said that twins do everything together. That must include being named to the All-CIF soccer team.
Palm Desert High juniors, twins Kiana and Makayla Mendoza were both selected to the CIF Division 5 All-CIF girls soccer team, the CIF Southern Section announced.
In all, 22 girls from the division were chosen by the division coaches for their outstanding play this season.

Kiana, a midfielder, and Makayla, a forward, led the Aztecs to a second-place finish in the Desert Valley League. The team lost to eventual champion Lancaster Desert Christian in the quarterfinals of the CIF playoffs.
