Playoff Action This Week for Three PDHS Teams

Boys' tennis looks to keep their hot streak alive; while baseball and softball enter the post-season brackets this week.

Three Palm Desert high teams will be in CIF-Southern Section playoff action this week, all looking for a Championship Title.

The Aztec boys' tennis team is already deep in the Division 2 bracket, hosting Arroyo Grande in a quarterfinal match on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.  Palm Desert is 18-1 on the season, and the #1 seed in the Division.  

Palm Desert's baseball and softball teams start thier playoff runs on Thursday.

The baseball squad (21-8 overall, 12-0 DVL), which lost in last year's CIF Championship game, opens their Division 4playoff run on Thursday, hosting the winner of Tuesday's wild card game between Patriot High and Chaffey High.  Like the tennis team, Palm Desert is seeded #1 in the division bracket.

Palm Desert's softball team (15-8 overall, 8-2 DVL), opens its Division 4 post season on the road at Mojave River League champs Oak Hills/Hesperia, also on Thursday.
