Reigning Champ Inbee Park to Return to Kraft Nabisco Championship

Paula Creamer, Sun Young Yoo, Stacy Lewis, Yani Tseng, Brittany Lincicome, Morgan Pressel, Karrie Webb, Pat Hurst, Lydia Ko and Juli Inkster also will play in the 43rd annual tournament, on April 1-6 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.

Defending Kraft Nabisco Championship winner Inbee Park will be back on the links in Rancho Mirage for the LPGA tournament next month, it was announced this week.

Paula Creamer, Sun Young Yoo, Stacy Lewis, Yani Tseng, Brittany Lincicome, Morgan Pressel, Karrie Webb, Pat Hurst, Lydia Ko and Juli Inkster also will play in the 43rd annual tournament, set for April 1-6 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.

"Look at the generations represented and the sheer depth of talent you have here. This is as talented a group of players as you will see on one stage all year," tournament director Gabe Codding said. "And you have all of them chasing Inbee, who set a standard for golf last year that people will be talking about for years and years to come."

In 2013, Park won the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the U.S. Women's Open and Wegmans LPGA Championship.

The Kraft Nabisco Championship is the first of five major tournaments on the LPGA Tour. More than 100 women golfers from around the world compete for $2 million, with $300,000 going to the winner. The champion takes a traditional, celebratory leap into "Poppie's Pond" at the 18th green.

Pro-am tickets for April 1 and 2 are $15. Single-day tickets for April 3- 6 are $25. And a six-pack of single-day tickets, or admission for the whole week, are $125. A weekly pass with VIP parking is $225. Those 17 and younger are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, and active military, spouses and children are also free with military identification.
