Kids Golf Heating Up in Coachella Valley

Summer golf tour gives local youth golfers chance to play some of the best courses in the desert.

The U.S. Kids Golf Tour is looking for junior golfers for it’s 2012 desert tour season.

As part of the nationwide U.S Kids Golf Foundation, the desert tour is an opportunity for junior to play golf in a tournament format of some of the most courses in the Coachella Valley.  The desert tour is one of 500 local tours that U.S. Kids Golf conducts across the nation.

“Local tours are also a great place for juniors to enter competitive golf,” said PGA pro Dustin Smith, and instructor with First Tee Coachella Valley. “Each event provides a fun environment for kids to further develop their golf skills and knowledge of the game without having to incur the cost of traveling long distances.”
