San Gorgonio Search and Rescue Host 10th Annual Calvert-Johnston Memorial Golf Tournament

The San Gorgonio Search and Rescue Team, the oldest in San Bernardino County, is planning to host a 10th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament for Phil Calvert and Scott Johnston, two volunteers who were killed in a crash on Highway 62 while driving to a search in Joshua Tree in July 2004.

The event is scheduled Saturday Oct. 26, 2013 at Calimesa Country Club. Registration will open at 11 a.m. and tee off begins at 12:30 p.m. An awards banquet is scheduled at 5:30 p.m.


Registration after Monday Sept. 23 is $350 per team of four golfers or $90 per individual participant. Register online atwww.sgsar.org or download the registration form and mail with payment to:

Johnston, 30, was a resident of Redlands, and Calvert, 58, and his family lived in Mentone.
