This is what happens when we don't teach teenagers in high school to grow up and be adults. TheyRead More turn into their 20's and have kids and treat their kids the way they treated other classmates in school. Time these people grow up. NO -----SHE DESERVES WHAT SHE GOT..- She STABBED STABBED STABBED..she should have gotten the deathRead More penalty.....but michigan has only life in prison. Don't have sympathy for her just because she's a woman. She's a cold blooded killer and deserves what she got.
RON Ostrodamus April 19, 2014 at 12:11 am
The death penalty certainly cuts down on the record number of incarcerations in America. Enough ofRead More this liberal crap on humane punishment. The word "humane' never enters the minds of these cold blooded killers. What is going to happen if another bombing takes place outside of Texas? What is going to happen with the next airplane hijacking, or Boston?

Maybe take it out by Homeland. I used to work by the Amy's Frozen Foods manufacturer in Santa RosaRead More and it stunk so bad when you went out side you would want to puke. Until you work or live by that foul smelling stuff you have no idea. Someone should invent how to catch the horrible smells before it leaves the buildings.
all-c-ing-eye April 18, 2014 at 11:51 am
Perhaps the only solution would be to have it made outside the USA. and have the company import it,Read More problem solved. Most Americans dont like these odors that burn the eyes etc. but they are getting accustomed to ordering them in restaurants that specialize in certain ethnic foods, then they can leave eating establishment and not have to smell it anymore. I used to live near people from india that cooked with curry all the time and had to keep my clothes in plastic bags as everything in the home reeked from the Oder all the time. They were nice people but never understood why Americans found fault with their cooking smells. Perhaps this is the case here with sriracha.

Why don't you just take "Local" out of the title??
Kerry Murphy April 18, 2014 at 06:18 pm

Michael Kennedy April 17, 2014 at 06:35 am
Let us hope that with the new law building will come a measure of local justice that has beenRead More severely lacking over the past few years. [And I agree with Ern that more attention needs to be given to jurors and to their comfort - an independent, neutral, and robust jury pool is necessary to the effectuation of justice.]

kathleen macmurray April 17, 2014 at 05:46 am
A horse and carriage ride in a park, fine. But not on busy, crowded city streets. It's cruel to theRead More horse and dangerous to everyone else. I'm with the NYC mayor on this one.
