I'm a retired teacher and pretty darn conservative in most of my views. I strongly feel that schools place way too much emphasis on teachers needing to be better trained. More emphasis should be placed on the fact that society and parents are the biggest problem....not that different programs and better training aren't needed. That is very important too although not the catchall solution.
